A Poem by Natasha Montgomery

"Come here. Just melt into me."
I did.
Melting into you was
cathartic.
You didn't mind my stormy mind; swells of tears, with violent gusts of wind from my lungs.
Your strong, but not unforgiving, body keeping me anchored.
Your gentle, but not weak, voice soothing my soul.
You put me at ease
and let me melt into you.
Gooey, like a chocolate chip cookie we are; warm and delicious.
