Will

Will

A Poem by Juno

The carelessness from the spur of the moment
Turned into a relentless will that, even though,
Try as it may, could not reach the "you"
Who has been paralyzed in a maze so
Deluded by dark thoughts that not even
The brightest of the stars could lighten up
That burden you carry that hurts you
And so, I tore myself down, seeking
To ease your shaken heart, hoping that I
Could one day keep up the charade of a
Love that was something so one-sided
That it would have never stood a chance
