Portal desires

Portal desires

A Poem by jinjahman
"

toasting hell

"

where has your peace been?

away? stolen?

rejoined to rejoice with a previous reject

a previous insect who adorned your attic?

principles hid

all the while aloof:

was it happenstance or design?

my portal's desires

fired in a hall of miracles

that escaped

the galactic miasma

screeched from nova's hip

uni-brother: so cool..

- "actually, been cooling for 1.2 billion years"

"is that a fact?"

sojourn's winter,

mojos nap,

peace hibernates,

and hell sleeps,

and sleeps,

thankfully!

and when sojourn thaws

and mojo awakes

peace emerges from its dark cave.

Then we'll light a fire and toast hell.

I'm guessing you're channeling the snowbound blues... pretty cool up your way. There's a powerful poetic voice behind these words - it's always a challenge to read your work.
