Simple Perfection

Simple Perfection

A Poem by Sarah Katherine
"

We did picture poems and this is the one I wrote.

"
Laying out, on the beach
I see a water splash
little droplets fly through the air
at his big summer bash

Simple perfection is the only way
to describe these perfect waves
blue and white, the taste of salt
show this great liquid vault

It hides the secret ships
of this oceans fatal past
rocks upon these waters
made these ships sink fast

But we don't think about that
for reasons we all know
this is the summer filled with
love and fun, we never want to go
