Mellow Devil

Mellow Devil

A Poem by LeFilez

The king of hell said my rent was due
So I slipped off the grid
Now he is in hot pursuit
They've got no use for me in hell
And they think less of me here
But can I trust you
To keep it secret
How much I care

Saw a pickup truck with a vanity tag that read
ITSABOY
Dog balls hanging from the hitch
Prism sticker ala Floyd
Fun spirit and that's ok
Maybe a touch underemployed
Look how I get off the track

I think I've got you fooled by now
There is no track
Come follow me
Come follow her
Don't be a square

Hats off to the underemployed
