Dreaming for the pain to go away

Dreaming for the pain to go away

A Poem by Ashley
"

This is a cute poem/story. Enjoy

"
Anastasia is her name who gets blamed for everything
Even things she did not do
Todd is this boy, the only one who likes her
Todd is a bit odd and tries too hard
Anastasia is always shown alone
She does not care when it rains
Because it disguises her lonely tears
Does not care to bring an umbrella
Even though she has to walk miles each day
When she crosses the street
She does not bother to look both ways
Not even once, she just walks facing down with a frown
She would not mind to end her life
Anastasia styles her bangs in her hair covering her puffy eyes
So no one can see how glossy her cried out eyes are
She has hope and joy over a boy named Trevor
Trevor is the new boy in town, who does not live too far
He is sweet, by always helping someone out in need
Trevor agreed to be a better person in life
Anastasia only stares at him in the corner at school
She enjoys his presence and his shiny brown hair
Anastasia dresses in all black and wonders why she goes unnoticed
Todd tries to talk to her, to get her to open up her problems
But like any other person she pushes him away
Todd tries to sit with her at the lunch table
But she runs off into the library to sit at a empty table to think alone
She has too many issues that her family and friends caused
And thinks no one can help
She is all alone, and is getting used to the pain everyday
Her red blood shot eyes pour out every night
She does everything just to get through the weekend
Because during the weekend she does not see nor hear from Trevor
She has to smoke weed, drink until blacked out, never returning home
Her heart is broken,
not even the hospital could help fix the missing pieces
During the week her emotions are better,
she is the only person who hopes for school to come
She feels the classes with Trevor goes by quickly
While the ones without him takes forever,
she shakes her legs and count down the pointless minutes away from him
She chews bubble gum and tries to pop a loud bubble,
for Trevor to notice
He does not turn around too often
She is too shy to say, "hi"
She does not want to get rejected,
by the only person who gives her light in her life
Anastasia keeps up walls that no one expect him can break

In class she day dreams
A beautiful slightly windy afternoon
Trevor went up to Anastasia and he pushed her bangs out of her eyes
Smiled and said, "You're beautiful, I always notice you."
Anastasia smiled the biggest smile ever
Trevor was outside holding her and gently touching her flowing hair
The autumn leaves where fresh and falling from the trees
As the trees changed colors
Trevor could not stop staring into her beautiful blue eyes
Anastasia could not stop glaring at his handsome hazel eyes
They hug in the park sitting on the warm bench

Until the obnoxious bell rang and the teacher screamed the homework
Trevor ran out of class to find his friends who are mostly girls
They are all over him while he calls them pet names like Babe
While other rude teenagers laughed at Anastasia
She jumped up from her squeaky chair and wiped off her droll
That was the final bell, she grabbed her heavy backpack
Walked out of school and bit her lips until they bleed,
only dreaming she is kissing his soft lips
She is a foll for loving and holding on
But she can not stop because she does not know how to.
