Stop Me Falling

Falling hard and falling fast
Is what I have done in the past,
Feeling foolish every time men break my heart.
What I find a real mission
Is breaking out of this tradition
For I do not have a clue of where to start!

Men appear easy to please
When you fool around and tease
But they do not seem to want to stick around
If you start to natter on
About your future wedding song;
All of a sudden they can no longer be found!

If only they did know
Just how much I’d love them so
If they took me by the hand and pledged “I do”.
But it seems they find it scary
And they become rather wary
When by the third date I am saying “I love you!”

I know to try and take it slow
Seems the only way to go
If I am to find some happiness in life.
Maybe I need to find an aid
Because right now I’m afraid
That no man will ever want me for a wife!

Spot on. I have two brothers, one twenty five, one twenty eight; both are still petrified of commitment.
Must be something in the water.

Beccy.
