Knot

Knot

A Poem by Jamie Lee

The ends hang frayed, lifeless

Creeping up to the

knot that holds tight -

keeping it's rigid form.

It intertwines in an elaborate

lybrinth, weaving in and out

like a wounded soldier rushing

to his fallen comrade.

So simple to the eye, yet

impossible for the mind.
