Story of a sinner

Story of a sinner

A Poem by Daydreamer54
"

This poem just came to me and I hope it really speaks to someone. :)

"

I thought I had everything I ever wanted, that was a lie.

Everyday I would face death, but I would barely slip by.

The devil painted me a picture and there was an immediate attraction.

At the end of the day he would always get the satisfaction.

Truley hell was the direction for my soul.

I did what I wanted and my heart was a lump of coal.

Sometimes when I was alone, I felt empty inside.

I thought no one loved me and at nights I often cried.

One day someone told me, that Jesus died on the cross.

He did it for everyone, even those who were lost.

I started to call Jesus and I instantly felt new.

I no longer desired to do the things I used to do.

I'm so glad that I'm now forever free.

My heart has softened and i'm so full of glee.

So to you people who might have a story like mine,

if you aren't living for God, I pray you do just in time.

I loved it. I know how you feel I feel the same way now and I have jesus. I lock myself in my room every night cause I feel like nobody loves me. My family is broken apart and its hard on me. My dad got remarried and me and my sister are mistreated by our step-mom. I love my dad and all but I can't stay any longer. I tried to tell him but he slapped me and said stop lien to me so I know how it feels. If it wasn't for Krystal then I would have never found Jesus.

I loved it and I have to say before I came to Christ, I was the same way. I've always considered myself religious, even before I got saved, but it wouldn't really sink in how much Jesus loved me. So, I would go to church, but do my own thing. One day I realized that was not enough. Jesus died for our sins so we could live free. When we get saved, we should live for him. After all, he is our Savior.

Very thought out and creative. An interesting way to spread the word, if you will. Great flow and I enjoy your structure. You have a talent. Very well done.

I really like it. A beautiful picture of who we are before Christ releases us from the bondage of sin :)
