Tourniquet.

Tourniquet.

A Poem by johnnyqueer

I could construct an airplane from paper
To carry my thoughts way up skyward,
Would you listen to me if I was screaming?
Would you care if my tears fell like raindrops?

I could construct a boat from plastic
To carry my dreams down the drain,
Would you catch me if my faith failed?
Would you care if I lost all meaning?

I could reconstruct a heart from shards
Mutilating my own flesh in the process,
Would you kiss each of my wounds?
Would you be my tourniquet?

Beneath the pool of blood boiling
Would you help me find a key?
I'm lost and losing patience again,
I'm lost and lacking my tourniquet.

When your heart bleeds, you need a good bandage for it. People are different; different bandages of all kinds. I hope you find the right one :)

This, to me, is about as good as it gets. You never cease to amaze me, friend.

Hey JQ, you have a cool poetic mind, scarey sometimes, but it all rocks to varying degrees. I've been reading you for a minit, very cool writing

Hello, I'm JohnnyQueer. I'm exactly like you, but completely different. My name pretty much says it all, I'm very strange, and very gay. I draw my inspiration from the grey areas of life, sometime.. more..
