Living scab.A Poem by johnnyqueer
This is not based on physical self harm.
fascinated by the ruby red crystallization
Forming quickly upon my naked canvas.
I can't seem to ever leave them alone,
All the imperfections infesting my being.
Picking away at the crusted particles,
Awaiting the gush to make me gasp.
I'm addicted to the stinging feeling,
Tearing myself apart to feel whole.
I find myself smiling after wincing,
Trying to put my nostalgia to rest.
Self destruction gets tiring quickly,
I promise myself it will be worth it.
My mind is sharper than a razor,
Dissecting all of my decisions...
Frowning because I'm wasting time,
Angry because I'm stuck behind.
I bite my lip and continue to ponder,
Picking scabs and residing in wonder.

AboutHello, I'm JohnnyQueer. I'm exactly like you, but completely different. My name pretty much says it all, I'm very strange, and very gay. I draw my inspiration from the grey areas of life, sometime.. more..
