agreed. The Iranian Revolution was basically a failed version of the American Revolution...a failed miserably in an alternative reality version. They don't want freedom and they still don't want freedom, they want Islam, Islam and freedom are incomparable. As far as the haiku, this was a powerful brief way to get a strong message across. It only took me a second to read it and get what you were saying.

You do make it look effortless to write a haiku about such an important subject, and you did it showing heart. Heart, feelings are not the things I normally find in a haiku, but this is unique and very well presented- With feeling.

What I love about haikus are that they are to the point.
I am quite taken by the directive of this piece. It is touching yet haunting with such little effort. Awesome!
