In Every Path A Road Must Bend

In Every Path A Road Must Bend

A Poem by Jonathan Taylor
"

A short little poem about the trials we all face and the faith to see it through.

"

If in the middle of the night you find what you seek,

Do not fear the wanderers that you meet,

The days spent all for this hour,

To share and hold close the treasure found,

Steal away My heart and enjoy its power.

If the days are spent in wonders,

And the nights restless,

The treasure cannot be found by blunder,

If the tears were worth the trail,

And the joy endless,

This treasure holds love that will never fail.

            Trust in the moment,

Too soon it came or ever late,

This exodus the price of a new covenant,

In your hands lay a gem,

Formed in the heart of fire,

From this our hopes shall stem.

If in the heat of the desert you stumble across water,

A hungry mind will always find its fodder,

Look to the heavens to welcome the coming storm,

To be the sign of things to come,

In the nexus of creation you were born.

If this eve your mind wanders,

And morning comes too soon,

Thought unveils the ever yonder,

If the beginning was worth the end,

And the seeds that bloom,

Remember in every path a road must bend.
