deja vu

deja vu

A Poem by joshua deathdealer

"
I've learned nothing
cycle after cycle
I come back around
to where I started
back to the fire
I've wandered in this
forest for so long
I know nothing else
nothing but the vines
holding me back
nothing but the thorns
ripping into my skin
the drops of acid
losing the war within
black lilies bloom
everywhere I've been
deja vu

This had a lot of imagery. I could picture everything you said in this poem. I feel like this is based off what you've been going through at this moment. That is what I got from this. It was beautifully written. Just know you are the strongest person I know. I know eventually you will get off the cycle. I enjoyed reading this. Thank you sharing.

Beautiful Josh.
Sometimes it's good to circle back, no?
Makes you appreciate things...
