If you could look at yourself

Through my eyes

You’d be amazed at the beauty

I see inside

 

You’d be shocked and astonished

The joy that you bring

Though I just barely know you

My heart wants to sing

 

And if you had just an inkling

The things that I see

For your grace and your goodness

Are amazing to me

 

So I’m writing this verse

That you will know

For to me you are perfect

This will always be so

 

And if it’s not in the cards

For us in the end

Still it’s a great honor

To be your friend
