Assessing Me

I took a look at myself one day.

I’m happy, I guess.

Kind to animals and small children,

And I try not to hurt people,

That’s good.

I can be annoying,

But only when I don’t care if I’m annoying.

People love me anyway.

Good people.

I still have some things to do,

And I try my best, sometimes.

I’m sober and honest and respectful,

And have never hated anyone.

I like that.

I feel pity for those who struggle,

And help those I can.

If I can.

If I knew me, I would like me.

I guess.
