Simple Proclamation

Simple Proclamation

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Let people write.

Simple.

Give them a chance to express,
    maybe heal and grow.

If there is a problem with the punctuation,
  or the grammar,
     try to help.

Thoughts may not be clear to you,
   but there is meaning.

Instead of sarcastic comments,
   maybe a question?

Don't destroy a dream.

'Give them a chance to express,

I could not agree more. as poets there is that need to write, something that fights for expression that just won't go away. I respect that need and maybe we all grow out of our writing though some are destroyed by it unfortunately. fantastic.

Well said. There is far too much made of correct, or standard, punctuation and grammar.

Well Said Dear Tortoise ..
Situations are very easily fixed..when people are level headed and calm natured...
these are people who like peace..will work differences out.. discretely I might add..
it does not cause attention..does not cause a ripple within a "community"
If someone is unreasonable...block and delete..and most important..IGNORE..simple, but has to be implemented in order to work..gossiping does not quell it..
" the squeaky wheel gets the grease"
"proof is in the pudding" for you are even writing now..and we are commenting ... I say... ride us on back to the garden Dear Hard Shell and lets go pick us a mess o strawberries ( ;

My way of trying to get a point across. All you can do is try to make people think.
