What kind of writer

What kind of writer

A Poem by Jon Roggie

One thing I should mention,
  I can be lazy.

I have given up on classification.

I still say that last word does not look right.

Back to the writing.

It all comes back to a story.
  How you tell it?

I feel most comfortable in a small group.
  Part of being a performer.
 Let them see my face,
    and the occasional tear.

Nothing contrived.
The story is part of you,
and each show of emotion is a reflection.

This reflects on how I write.

I show my tears,
  my smiles,
   and simple bemusement.

An honest writer, with honest emotion, showing snippets of life -- sans acoutrements, save the well placed word.

This is what I am. You are just stuck with the results. I apologize ahead of time. :)
Writers wrote from their history and their victories/pain known.
"This reflects on how I write.
I show my tears,
my smiles,
and simple bemusement."
I believe writers dig deep and long. Pouring their emotions to paper. Tobe a good writer. Need to know pain and glory. Thank you Jon for sharing the excellent poetry.
