I write words

I write words

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Simple process.
What could a few words mean?

Nothing for the passerby,
 but the writer is sharing.

Part letting slip away.

How do you share yourself?

This always leaves me tired.

I share my soul.
Little bits.

with time it grows

Writer's dreams and nightmares. Force words and thoughts. Worthwhile or not? I have been writing and reading for 50 years. I wonder do I write for myself or for a reason? I liked your thoughts in the poem. Thank you Jon for sharing the excellent poetry.

London, Twain, Poe, and then we move forward...
Long car trips as a child in the early 70's,
but the sharing makes another have part of our soul...

little bits...and then we are all joined in some odd way, through the pen.
