Security blanket

Security blanket

A Poem by Jon Roggie

She clutches her tablet,
 walking from room to room.
Screen cracked,
mended with a piece of tape.

Lost without it,
 almost withdrawal.

Seeking for a signal.

Constant contact giving comfort.
Escaping the world around her.
Something she can control.
