Physical Part II

Physical Part II

A Story by Jon Roggie

I admit it.
If I get to a chance to use Roman Numerals,
  I can't resist.
Just like the sound of it.

Anyway,
 after a few blood tests,
 and no cold hands,
I have been given a verdict.

Low Vitamin D.

Cholesterol is good.
 I fry turkeys!
Forget margarine,
 I only buy butter!

I thought there might be a touch of diabetes,
 but no!
Pecan pie recipe should put most people in a sugar coma,
and not to mention the seven layer dessert .

I have even lost five pounds.

Doctor didn't bother mentioning blood pressure.

How am I supposed to get any sympathy?

Not the best incentive to change my habits.

The doctor is being thorough. I have a few more tests to go. Already making a few changes.
I like how the title became the opening part Jon. Isn't it strange how it never is what we think it is, and as you say, not exactly a reason to give up what we already knew was bad for us.
I think my doc telling me to give up coffee was a crock. Think i'll have a cup and listen to my heart play the bongos :)

I like using the title as the first line. Why should it be set apart from the rest?
