We The People

We The People

A Poem by Hugo Lopez

Death is close

We fear him the most

There’s nothing we can do

But I think we should

In order to live

We have to fight

And stop the hiding

He’s only the boss

And we’re the ones who pay the cost

So why not rebel

I’m sure he’ll go to hell

Back to his casket

So we the people

Are now tripled

As years go by

With everybody saying Hi

But not a sign of any Byes

One day death will be reborn

As well the same to the rebels

They will once again reform
