5 min ditty

5 min ditty

A Poem by Julie McCarthy (juliespenhere)
"

Home sick today going crazy so here’s to Writing even if it’s stupid silly bad or just plain dumb it’s our emotions

"
Don’t be cross with me
Said wife to hubby
Crying tears of
Crocodile style thought he
I’m only asking for fifty
My hair it looks like birds nest
Up an old gum swaying tree
Ok here’s the fifty better be good
Says he
Prancing around in bonds underwear
Slamming bathroom door
How about mopping the bloody floor
She sat down
With quite a frown
The crocodile had left its mark
The magnifying mirror
Showed no mercy in her face
Time for me to have a bath
And spruce me up
Get made up
And teach that boy a thing or two
If he thinks he can make me
Feel like a pile of sh.t then
Who’s to say I am or ain’t
I need to win this race
She arrived home late that night
And he munching on a melted
Cheese jaffle there
He said my you look good enough to eat
She said the crocodile had swum his mile
Was time to be a swan again
He picked her up all 180 pounds of her
And tripped over shoe left under bed
And she fell screaming lopsided too
He laughed she laughed
And that was that
Until the two became as one again
This fight they won’t recall till years later
The motto is crocodiles turn into swans eventually
You mayaswell let her spend anyway
