A Poem by Julie McCarthy (juliespenhere)
"

Me

"
Thud
Crash bang
Went my ego
What little I had
Has gone
Under cement
Buried
Never to surface
On my path of life again
I’m grounded
Now
Walking
Crunch
On these pebbles
Kicking as I go
My path
To
Happinesses
My own yellow brick road

I understand this poem. I fell down often and I gathered my senses and go forward. I liked the personal Yellow brick road. Thank you Julie for sharing the amazing poetry.
