Blast Off

intergalactic transportation

 

Mariux 3 climbed the volcano

And it was really tall

So high into the clouds

She hoped she wouldn’t fall

 

She took off her clothes

And danced around the peak      

And if the clouds did part

We’d see a dancing freak

 

Cause she had three legs

And four longish arms

And five big red eyes

Added to her charms

She was from a different planet

And had fallen down to earth

And left a huge dent in the ground

Because of her great girth

 

To get back to her space again

She would need a serious boost

And to sit upon that volcano’s peak

Was what she had deduced

 

When that volcano did erupt

And sent her into outer space

She was sure she would come back

because Earth was such a lovely place

Your lines reminded me of Sicily and when I walked on mount Etna, the ground beneath my feet warm from the lava spills. I can imagine this craft from outer space poised ready for blast off. Methinks though she would just have ended up earth bound. Boiled in lava flow. Very visual Dave.
