A Poem by john l smith
"

a visit

"

On View

There was a green man I once knew

Who wanted to visit a new zoo

But he looked so strange

They were said to arrange

For him to be on view in there too

There are times when all of us can feel as though we are in a cage. I like where these lines took me Dave. I like freedom, but there can be safety in cages.

Lol. Take care.
i can relate to this...one of my ex-wives and i absolutely loved zoos...and in any state in which we were driving we would see a sign for a zoo and have to stop and visit.
I see allegory here too...often we can seem weird to others and feel like we are in the cage of life being viewed by all of them.
and they are probably wondering if we are to be soon an extinct species.
