It is what it is

This is a slightly political poem about the current President, whether you like him or not.

~IT IS WHAT IT IS~

Being only a total of

eight long months

since the powers that be

decided emphatically that

he should be the one -

“Prez of the U. S”. -

Now - it is, what it is!

It seems like some

got the D.T.'s,

a highly toxic symptom

of their own doing,

cause he was put there

by you - ' the public' -

So - it is, what it is!

A fire is brewing

yet, only smoldering now

stoked by greedy ones

pretending to be your friend,

a wolf in sheep's clothing

an enemy resides

hiding in plain sight

For �" it is, what it is!

I wonder if

it'd be different

had she won? or

same as it is now

we'll never really know

Cause �" It is what it is!

When �" why �" how...

will things be great again

only time will tell

if 'HE' can pull it off

or will the powers that be,

pull the rug out

from under his feet

Until then...

IT is what It is!

Will people stay calm?

Not if the ruler of

this world would have

anything to say, cause

he thrives on chaos,

he loves fighting

so this is the world

we now live in...

“It is what it is”

Many people don't care for the man, I don't like or hate him; but this is what I feel in my heart- "It is what it is!"

A really poignant write in reflection of what is current now...I believe he should be given a chance as that was afforded to then president obama...I think this is what makes democracy great...that there are term limits and that a new voice leads us. I pray that as a country there is more than the Hollywood shallowness to this world.
