Love and Cookies

Love and Cookies

A Poem by Kimmee Jean

Talking about love in the forms of straight, gay, lesbian, monogamous, and polyamorus.

Cookie Cutter love
One and One
Man and Woman

Changing the mold
Man and Man
Woman and Woman

Different and Beautiful
But still...
One and One

Changing still
One and One
... and One more?

Sugary sweet puppy love
With sprinkles of new romance
And bound by trust and love

Man and Woman and Woman
Woman and Man and Man
Beautiful! Lovely!

Man and Man and Man
Woman and Woman and Woman
Gorgeous! Exquisite!

Combinations of love
Continue to be love
Will always be love

Not for the gender of the lovers
Nor the amount of the lovers
But the trust and respect for the lovers

Embrace your group
Your pod
Your brood

Love your Couple
Your Triad
Your Quartet

Be honest with your Husband
And your Girlfriend
And her Wife

Trust in your lover
Your Primary
Your Metamour

Whatever the title
Whatever the amount
Whatever the Gender

Let there be Love
Let there be Trust
Let there be "Us"

Beautiful, you had me hungry on the cookie part too LOL. But I like the fact how you are open in your poem, and respect people from different walks of life. Nice job.
