Spiritual Prayer

"
Lord,
Baptize me in Your mercy;
Guide me with Your grace....
-
When times are oh so hard....
...and when i don’t know what You have in store;
knowing You haven’t left me
but i still feel lost & empty;
tired & anxious...

Guide me still, when i am toe-to-line in Your will;
Feeling filled with Your love & patience and i can stand TALL,-
Grounded, on solid footing;

____

as i feel the water fade in and out of hot to lukewarm;
just sit there;
.....
sit there,
and think of all the times You delivered me & why must i fear today,
what’s changed about You is nothing....
You always come and You save me;and i am ‘un-torn’ again...
but,lift me once more, please,

as i am in “another stage of development”....
...needing You more than i needed You yesterday….
if You are busy, as i know Your tasks are never-ending,
send a whisper, really, that’s all i need;a soft whisper,
in a song...in the write, or
as the water washes me,
and washes all tears away into non-existence;

purple skies & shapely clouds,
either will do me just fine…
-just please let me know You are here,
___

…as i listen to a song of praise…i quiet the chatter
and begin rest,
i feel my body relax itself,

Easily into the confidence,

That You got me…
and i am safe,
- once again-

These are good words. Words we all need to hear once in a while. We thrash about, uncertain and afraid, when in our heart we know that One is always there for us. Worthy write.
