Ahhh...drama...

Decided to play around with different forms-this one is a Tritina. Been thrust yet again into dramatics. Boo!

Ahhh...drama...

If all fails you could always leave

disrespect in the gutter-away from me

those vagaries of assumption best left alone

 

You call upon me when I feel alone-

Absent and obligatory: Oh, how I wish you’d leave

your fiery ignorance burning holes within me.

 

Surely you don’t know or understand me

wanting the anguish and dramatics stand alone

such a trial it is, wishing this feeling would leave

 

A simple request before you call: please, just leave me alone

Well, i aim to learn something every day and this is my lesson for today; and as someone who can't write within the constraints of style, form, tradition, i think this is fascinating and more than interesting. Must read far more about this specific pattern. What a fine poet you are, seems you try and succeed at different forms - to me that's incredible!
