The Time Family Requiem

The Time Family Requiem

A Poem by Silburwolf

Aye the father of time less doth he slumber these past moons
The mother cry laying wait
For a new dawn to behold as war unfold
For thus time itself only driven towards its end?

All things look towards heavens whether they accept it or not
As the heavens look down on such a tragedy once gold
The eyes of angels though frustrated keep guard
For they be but messengers not gods themselves

The family of time lies servitude to the king
Recording the daily blessings, tragedies, and sorrows of the people
Yet time itself as staring towards its end it is really only the beginning of all things
For the spirits that believe and hold firm are not bound nor despair by time

The sons and daughters of the time family sit in the fields and play
Waiting to see their new friends enter through the gates
Though time itself enter requiem doth not mean end.
For it only means bringing of old and entering the new

Likely Mozart knew of such things even when he composed his Requiem
For entering a new light of day his heart's desire
The Time Family Requiem thereof means not death but change
Thus in death doth it not die only resets for those who hold fast and wait.

Silburwolf
I had to do a couple edits but the final work is pretty much a sequel to the first poem I ever typed titled "The Time Family"
