Sunshine stabbing my eyes
Through the blinds
Morning thoughts reminiscent of last night
Wasn't sure if we fucked or fought
This hangover is my only thought
All i know is that you aren't beside me
Because my hand feels only the mattress
While seeking you blindly
If you don't love me
Please say it more kindly
Now i see you in every silhouette
Cast by the shadows of the smoke from my cigarette
Am i what you meant by your biggest regret
Please believe me
I tried to be the best
But then i tend to forget
That this romance was one in sin
Every kissed watched by the devil's grin
Now my plans for today
Are to think of my final words to say
Because i can no longer function without your presence
And your presence is one of excellence
I hope you know that
I hope who ever loves you next shows you that
I might not have shown it but i love you
I'm glad you gave me a shot
