A Poem by Amber Zoe

Bravely conquer your past

Spun across the countless ages surrounded in the mist

Hidden in the vagueness of an unanswered secret wish

Reaching to the sky only to be baptized by the sun

Thoughts seem to arise before your day has yet begun

Oh take you to a place to where you wish to call your home

Beyond the fields of wrath of where you can’t conceal the bones

These fragments of the past you wish would one day go away

Forsaking the foundation that made you what you are today

So march across the field to conquer that what gives you woe

To another sunset where there’s goodness left to sow

nice poem i really enjoyed reading it

Nice poem, great rhyme too. A lot of people find it hard to rise above the scars of their past and let it limit their ability and perspective of how the world really is.
