A wake up call....

A wake up call....

A Poem by Kajal Gulabani

The cloak of dusk with its sound aloud,
Is here to devour the ground.
In such gloom, there sat a lad,
An aching heart striving to tread.
With a lump in his throat and pallid eyes,
Smiles have lost the battle with cries.

'Here I stand firm', said the mountain afar,
No hail, no storm can break me apart.
'Here I fly with arms wide', said the sky,
No rains, no thunder can make me sigh.
' Dazzle like me', Yelled the dancing sea,
Let the tides have their spree.

Do not dispel yourself with life's brawl,
'Rise and shine' as the colossal sun,
Soared an inner voice within the mourning soul ,
Joys are hidden beneath..
No evil, no defeat can make you fall.

That's a very inspiring, positive poem you have there. I enjoyed reading it. Overcoming the limitations in our own minds is often our greatest battles.
