"Life and Death"

"Life and Death"

A Poem by Kameron Armitage
"

These are the perspectives of Life, and then Death. Enjoy!!

"
Breathing, seeing, feeling, tasting, smelling.
These are gifts that come with life.
Fresh air, beautiful sunrise, soft skin, cold drinks, flowers' senses.
We live, we lie, we cheat, we steal.
These are mistakes that we all make.
Life is a gift that we all take for granted.
When given to us, we don't notice it.
But when taken away.
It can bring regrets.
Pain, regret, sorrow, sadness, loss.
These are things that pair with death.
Hurt inside, wishing, emptiness, love ones gone.
We lived, we hurt, we cry, we mourn, we leave.
These are experiences as we take our last breathes.
Death is natural, yet man cannot yet accept it.
God has that privilege of taking back that gift he gave us.
When death occurs, we mourn and give up all hope.
But when given a second chance.
We regain hope.
