"Neverending Battle"

"Neverending Battle"

A Poem by Kameron Armitage

When I entered loves destructive path

It tore me apart from the inside out

In all its glory and all its wrath

And this is a battle I will surely lose.

As I fight, though

I wonder why

Why has this hurtful wind begun to blow

Carrying me farther than expected

I am a helpless leaf

Unable to escape this gusts getting stronger

Only thing that brings relief

Is when that painful wind has died down

And when that wind is at a dull roar

I try to regain control

But then it picks up and I lift off the floor

In a spiraling death flight to hell

But I will fight through and endure til the end

One things for sure, love is not my friend.
