"The Walk of the Night"

"The Walk of the Night"

A Poem by Kameron Armitage

The walls in a circle breath and

Whisper these words of darkness.

Fill your ears with blood,

it will not build a blockade of steel.

For the knives they wield

are sharp.

I am an honest god

Smiting all that take in

the satanic beliefs,

killing those blood thirsty soul takers,

that corrupt the innocent.

Are you walking the days or nights?

Following the dark path or climbing the walls with

Hands

Desperately grabbing at your legs.

I walk the path of dawn

Climbing a wall of sorrow

and sin

Overcoming the wall of Power,

I then run the path towards a greater self.

A gun in the distance.

The trigger is pulled when the sight is set.

Bullet spiraling through your

Soul

Sending you to a plummet to the

Unforgiving ground.

A ground filled with merciless ways and sorrow

Sometimes seen as heaven to the most damned,

Spiritless souls in the deepest trenches of hell.

Those empty souls are filled with the lies of the condemned.

Burned by the damned and

Laughed at by the righteous.

Not all mighty righteous are laughed at, however.

They are false prophets in a world filled with sick and twisted souls.

Each righteous man is in a battle between two souls.

A struggle.

One soul,

sick and twisted,

Demented through the eyes of the rested.

The other a soul of truth,

Being smothered by the hands of a devious spirit.

The supposed all mighty and righteous god

tells people stories of rejoice and repentance,

but in fact he is the destroyer behind the world's faults.

Another bully, pulling the strings to our thoughts

in the ways he wishes.

But shall not be suede.

Mind strong I block the whispers and smash them once and for all.
