SILENT SCREAM

SILENT SCREAM

A Poem by Kim

The pain is horrible

Ripping and shredding

Away the flesh, eating at the bone

Crushed and tortured

Its enough to make your blood curdle

Can you hear the silent scream?

All mangled and torn

The distortions of its ugliness

Written in the wind

Can you hear the silent scream?

In desperation for hope

You lean upon the cane of existence

Maneuvering through the handiwork of battle

To hear the silent scream

Our souls often cry a silent scream, and so few will hear it, and even fewer will care if they do. A painful write of the darkness in the soul, screaming to be set free. XX

About
I like to escape into the world of my mind which then allows the scribblings of reflection to flow. I write what I feel and what comes to mind. Some are silly, some are dark, some are good and som.. more..
