Letters from a subconscious

Letters from a subconscious

A Poem by Kat
"

This is all up to personal perception, and life experience.

"
When my heart is safer than my head,
Am I cursed, or destined for darkness?
With no desires of being needed or lusted for
And rejection feels right, from all the wrong people.
Has a life without love become the light?
If so why then
Does my complexity yearn for presence of another?
If the dark depths in my head, where hatred and logic nest
Are both feared and desired
Why then is it when my heart offered it’s rejected?

Thank you, college has been as much a blessing as a curse.
