Something New

This boy came into my life and turned it upside down.

 You're the difference, my something new.

 

You could steal my heart, and break it too.

 

You could be the one to teach me how to fly.

& I could be the one for you if I really try.

I'm ahead of myself, my mind moves too fast.

Great things take time, time makes them last.

I'm so confused, or maybe I'm lost.

To be with you is at any cost.

Ruin Me? No you couldn't!

Try to! Do you think you shouldn't?

Do you think you could? Maybe so!

Let's take a chance or we'll never know.

At first I was a little put off, I don't generally like my poems to be in paragraphs. Perhaps a little spacing is in order? But after over looking that, I did find a good poem. The words fit together and seem to flow very well. The questions and exclaimations give body to the emotion of this piece, making it seem personal. Which it may or might not be. But anyway, there's definately talent here.
