Dakness Consumes MeA Poem by Katrina MckeownGothicAs Darkness Consumes Me, There's No Turning Back, It's a Journey To Hell Now That's Where I Belong, As My Soul Burdens Heavily With Wrongs That Have Come, There's No Turning Back Or Button Undone.
Dressed All In Black Clothing With Crimson Black Hair, If You Dare To Look My Way, I'll Give You That Stare, Expressionless Features Now Rest On My Face, And My Shirt Dones A Collar Made Out Of Lace.
With Cuts On My Arms Trying To Let My Pain Out, Inside i'm Screaming And Can't Get It Out, To Hide In The Shadows With Others Like Me, It's A Cope Mechanism From Life And The Pain It May Bring.
Death Becomes Her Some Might Say As My Make Up Grimmly Hides My Face, I wouldn't Harm Others Unless They Harm Me, It's My Cope Mechanism And Others Like Me.
I Respect Death Just As Much As I Do Life, My Lifes Been Overcomplicated, Overated, Debated Degraded, Don't Judge Me Cause I Value Death, It's My Life , Don't Try To Walk In My Shoes, I Have Intellect And So Do My Friends, We Share Common Interests In Which By We Are Bound, We Love And Cherish All Of Which We Do Care, There's No Bad Intentions, Just A Deep Depression That's Sometimes Hard To Bare.
We Wear Alchemy Jewlery, Choke Collars and Necklaces, A Fashionable Statement Of Youth That Once Were.
I Live For The Night And Sleep During Day, I Don't Want To Turn Back Now, As I'm Happy This Way. © 2012 Katrina MckeownAuthor's Note
