Emotions

Just straight from my heart.

I stay up sometimes
Leaking my eyes out the window
Because i dont belong
here lingering in pure sorrow.

The past never dies
It follows you around like a game
Crowding all your good intentions
Sending you flying in your own pain.

Moving on is not an option
My hearts has lost all good beats
From all the dirty lies, anger,
losses, and careless cheats.

Hurting him is what did it
Breaking the one thing i only loved
Loved to a miracle not ever known
Not even the man we call to above.

Love Conquers all of us
At one time in this life
He has conquered all of me
For he knows this is right.

It travels the highway of emotions very well! Sorrow, love, "mourning", pain...You displa what you feel or have felt ( I imagine...) very concretely and effectively. The poem Really IS about emotions...

I too have been beaten by love...more than I have beaten it. Its amazing how something so beautiful can cause such anguish. You relayed this truth very beautifully in this poem. Very nicely done. I enjoyed this piece very much.
