One stare, one far-away gaze -

Is all it took
I wanted to know you,
I have to know you -
No being has ever made me feel this way
The commanding urge just to be in your presence
My breath so fast it sounds as if I had just ran to find you
But, I would run to the edge of the earth just to know you
I have to know you -
Who you are
And what you are
Your highest highs and lowest lows
Your passions,
Your greatest fears
The shine of your eyes when you’re happiest
The way you look when you sleep
And the way that you dream
The way that you love
Maybe I can be something for you to love
Maybe you could be my forever
So many feelings just from a gaze and you still haven’t even met my eyes -
I could only imagine everything you could make me feel
And maybe I could make you feel something if you just stared at me too
