Fighting writers block.

My best friend.

My sancutary.

Turn, Twirl, Tonight is the night.

You are mine.

9 years old.

Playing on the playset.

Swinging our feet, and humming our favorite tune.

Sun shines on your face.

Sparkle.

14 years old.

Hold my hand.

Feel my warmth.

Never let go.

Forever, and Always.

You are my prince in shining armor,

even if the only thing shinning is

your braces.

Sway to the music.

Sun shines on your beautiful face.

Sparkle.

25 years old.

What to wear?

Anything.

Make me feel beautiful.

Hold my hand.

Kiss my forehead,

you're finally all mine.

Tonight is the night.

On your knee, you profess

our dieing love for each other.

The sun shines on my hand.

Sparkle.

35 years old.

College, High School, Preschool.

Our love is multiplying.

It will never cease.

You will always be mine.

Get the application, get the grade, get the bottle.

We're in this for the long shot,

maybe it wont last.

Hold onto me.

Sing me my favorite melody.

Sun shines down on you.

Sparkle.

50 years old.

Cold, Cold are your hands.

Warm is your heart.

Where is the love that one seemed so real?

Is it hiding?

Or am I dead.

Touch me, Feel me, Anything,

to get the love we once had.

Twirl me around.

On your feet again,

our love reunites.

I'll never let you go again.

Walking through the forest,

the sun shines down on you.

Sparkle.

80 years old.

Forever and eternity.

Our love is an unbreakable convenant.

Make me feel like a little girl again.

Touch me, Feel me.

Our love does not end tonight.

Hold my hand, and

together we'll soar to the heavens.

Moon shining on our faces.

Sparkle, Sparkle.

Wow this was so beautiful and touching. Such an emotional piece and I connected to it right away! I have not seen a poem like this written in this style for quite some time. I loved it and it was masterfully done... also quite a unique subject to choose for a poem as well :)
