Away from Depression

Well since it seems that about 90% of my poems either are sad or political I wanted to start getting away from that and I find this one to be the starter. I have a new philosophy on life now.

Stay away from the trash
Focus on the clear treasure
Be happy for the time being
Make happiness be impossible to measure

No world you create shall thrive
If you just focus on the bad
If you never look at the good
Then no wonder you're sad

Sure curse the heavens
and the people you love
Just focus on the hell
You keep above

Rid of the gray in your heart
Don't let it stop you
Let the colors fill in
But stay away from blue

A smile on your face
Don't think of it as a lie
A joyful world around you
Is better than a sigh

Sure some of your treasure is gilded
But it still shines
Make the best of it
And it'll be gold in time

So up from the snot filled covers
And out from emotional death
I'll help start your new page
But you must fill the rest

Author's Note

I'm just in a very happy mood. I normally wouldn't after what has recently happened to me, but I realized there's no reason to be down. Too much good right now that it out weighs the bad. Ever since Sunday I've seemed to have a new philosophy on life.
