Entering a gentle slumber

Entering a gentle slumber

A Poem by Ash

Entering a gentle slumber

Before you enter your gentle slumber

Don't let your mind forever wonder.

The sounds are loud

The smog is thick

The sound stinks

I need a slumber

To silence the loud

And make the smog thin and meek

The sound becomes music

When I wake I need to see,

See clearly me.

When I wake I clean my eyes

The sand of yesterday and it's past

The sand is my hour glass

My hour glass is my trap,

My trap is my clarity

A deep slumber is needed

To unleash my dreams and let them unfold

What dreams may come

I am ready

I am, I am
