The Soulless City

Is a scary place

These little laughs,

these little moments,

is what I cherish,

what I hold dear,

coz sooner or later,

These will be the only memories,

showing that I tried to care.

Now all the rough nights,

where I lay alone inside,

Hoping for a ray of light,

that will shine through the sky,

That'll take me away,

and make me better,

than what I am today,

better than yesterday,

what I had that day.

I look around this neibhourhood,

See no soul that I can connect to,

Then I realise,

that I am alone in this souless city.
