and so i've learned.
i am small, the furriest of puffs, not even a hair long, not even a strand wide.
so... will you come back, and - no, please dont see the need to.
i am reckless, as often i am with these shiny objects that hold me.
i should never have let it hold me.
and for this i must apologize.
and you know and i know about all my excitements, you are the only one they are for, and yes, i should learn to contain them.
you are thinking; havent you learned restraint while i was away?
no, my love, i have not, and - please do not barge in saying how come ive been so blunt - only you would know why.
i am this way in my poetry; always ripe for the picking, the dissecting, the opening, i am alright for an airtight poet. i am alright.
