the moment

the moment

A Poem by AKhaus

how destiny has passed us by as the moment stays, left untied.
the images carved in my mind and I am blind, so blind.
letting go was as dying slow, it was my slowest death.
and your lips pressed firmly to my ear, you said you loved me, why would I have ever believed?
grains of sand collected and I drifted.
yet, you passed me yet again, leaving me exhausted and I could not have been more remissed by my negligence of you bliss.
