Frozen in this Path

Frozen in this Path

A Poem by AKhaus

I get stuck.
I get trapped in my thoughts and forget to breathe.
My earth quakes silently within and my tears burn.
I get stuck.
Feet strapped in to this chaotic dream.
Wishes are torturous teeth gnawing down as I bleed.
I get stuck.
Hands fading into the darkness and my body falling fast.
My cries only a brief wind whispering in my destiny’s past.
How can I ever be more than just a moment in your history?
I get stuck, stuck in words which travel from such lips.
